Job Description

Job title: Management Accountant
Job type: Permanent
Start date: ASAP
Salary: £30,000-£35,000, Dependant on experience
Location: Maryport, Cumbria
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week

Applicants must posses the following:
- A financial/payroll background
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel)

- ICT literate

- Strong organisation/time management skills

- Able to prioritise work load and multi task

- Able to comply with health and safety procedures and company policies

Role information:

- Liaise with Finance Staff/Managers on internal projects

- Work with the Manufacturing team to collate KPI's on a weekly basis

- Complete and check monthly expenses for all staff and manage expense sheets.

- Complete weekly cash flow prior to submitting to the Financial Controller in a timely manner

- Set up an ongoing audit file throughout the financial year in order to be checked on a monthly basis.

- Assist with year end budgets /forecasts

- File account information on a weekly basis

- Take daily calls and share any messages with the relevant personnel

- Complete reports on an ad-hoc basis upon request
